But all of those things pale in comparison to what happened in one town.

A fire tornado was caught on camera by an Australian film maker in Curtin Springs.

He was searching for film location when he spotted the flaming twister.

Fire tornados are also known as fire whirls or fire devils.

They are caused when a warm, rotating and rising column of air picks up a wildfire.
