(KCEN) -- Groupon is launching its own credit card payment business.
Groupon's new service lets businesses run credit cards using an iPhone or iPod touch.
These Groupon payments are aimed at businesses that offer deals through Groupon but a test program is allowing other merchants to take advantage of the service at higher rates.
Groupon is the latest company to dive into the growing market of paying by credit card with a simple phone attachment, following in the footsteps of PayPal and Square.
