Much of First Presidential Debate Will Focus on Economy

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- President Obama and Mitt Romney will spend the majority of their first debate talking about the economy.

That's based on a list of topics released by debate moderator Jim Lehrer of PBS.

The first three of the debate's six segments will focus on the economy.

The other three segments will focus on health care, the role of government and governing.

Each segment is expected to last about 15 minutes.

The first debate is set for October 3 at the University of Denver in Colorado.
