(KCEN) -- The fight between police and anti-American protestors continued today in Pakistan.
Hundreds of people tried to force their way to the U.S. embassy in Islamabad.
They broke through barricades of barbed wire and shipping containers and were able to enter what police call the red zone.
That's a diplomatic area housing the U.S. and other embassies.
Protesters threw rocks at police who responded with tear gas.
After about three hours the protesters fell back.
Unrest could be worse tomorrow after Friday prayers.
