(KCEN) -- The search for a teenage girl leads ICE agents to more than 80 illegal immigrants being held in a stash house near Houston.
When police stormed the house last night, they found 57 men, 16 women and nine juveniles.
They had been brought to the U.S. illegally by human smugglers.
All of the immigrants were being held against their will, for ransom.
ICE Spokesman Greg Palmore said, "They appear to be in dire straights. Some of them haven't eaten in 12 hours. All of (them) were in their underwear. No one has shoes. No one had clothes."
All of the victims are undergoing health screenings.
Their immigration status will be determined in the next few weeks.
