Around the nation people are gearing up for the big release of the iPhone five.
Here in Central Texas, stores like Best Buy are opening early to help control the large crowds that are expected.
Come eight o'clock Friday morning the more than 100 people who pre-ordered the iPhone five will be able to come pick up the year's hottest gadget.
Since September 14th, people have been calling to get their hands on the brand new iPhone five.
But not everyone is leaning towards the Apple device.
"I'm not really keen on the iPhone five, it seems to me like just hype," said phone shopper Randy Greene.
Greene is scooping out a new phone, but unlike many people, he wont be getting the new iPhone.
"I just feel that you know most of the features that their hype is, is stuff that they've had on Androids for like a year and a half two years, they're kind of late to the game," said Greene.
And those that do will have to wait.
"If you didn't pre-order with us than your probably not going to get a phone. You'll be waiting a for a while to get a phone, so just keep that in mind," said Best Buy Mobil Manager Channing Coffey.
Coffey said they've been calling people who pre-ordered phones setting up appointments so people can come pick them up all throughout the weekend.
"It will be crazy, but it will be controlled chaos, what I like to call it," said Coffey.
Apple pre-sold almost two million iPhone five in just the first 24-hours.
With a bigger screen, skinnier body, and faster programs, the iPhone five has Apple fans gear up for the big debut.
But even so, there's one man, who plans on sticking to Samsung.
"I had an iPhone before and I just wasn't to thrilled with it," said Greene.
If you didn't pre-order the new iPhone you're going to have to wait about three weeks to a month before it becomes available for the general public.
And also if your not eligible for an upgrade plan on spending about 700 dollars.
