North Bosque Water Supply Corp Issues Boil Water Notice - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- A boil water notice has been issued for all North Bosque Water Supply Corporation customers served by the Compton Road Plant.

The notice is the result of a low pressure reading in the water system.

In order to avoid harmful bacteria and other microbes all customers are advised to boil water before consuming it.

Water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil then boiled for at least two minutes.

As a substitute to boiling customers are encouraged to purchase bottled water or to get water from another usable source.

Water system officials will notify customers when the notice is no longer in effect.
