(KCEN) -- Two men have been charged in connection with stealing two checks from President Obama's campaign headquarters in Chicago.
Thirty-six-year-old Jessie Adams and 48-year-old Willard Elam were charged with operating a financial crimes enterprise.
Police say two checks totaling more than 50-thousand-dollars were stolen sometime last week.
The checks were made out to legitimate businesses.
Police say the suspects deposited the checks in accounts they set up.
