UPDATE (KCEN) -- Both the victim and the suspect have now been identified.
Police say 41-year-old Kimberly Petean, who also went by the last name Farr, of Waco was shot and killed yesterday. Her husband, 36-year-old Carnell Petean Jr. was arrested as a suspect in the murder.

UPDATE: 11:30 P.M.
A Waco woman is dead after being shot by her husband.
It happened around six at a Waco apartment complex on the 2,500 block of East Lake Shore Drive.
Investigators tell us that 41 year old woman was fatally shot at least two times and was laying down by the front door when police found her. That man's vehicle information was sent out and he was stopped by Bryan Police Officers. He was arrested and is now in police custody.
The suspect had taken the victim's 9 year old daughter but she was found with him in the car and she was taken into custody. Officers also picked up that girl's older sister and both are now with family.
Investigators finished up the forensic investigation around 11 P.M.
The suspect and the victim are married but do not live together and that man is not the 9 year old girl's biological father.

The incident happened around 7:00 PM on the 2500 Block of Lake Shore Drive.
Investigators are still at the scene.
No word yet on the identity of the victims or the suspect.
