(KCEN) -- According to Fort Hood officials, the accused Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan has been admitted to the hospital.

He was admitted to Darnal Medical Center on Saturday, September 22 and is currently in good condition.

Details of why he was admitted are not being released.

Hasan is expected to be released within the next 48 hours.
