(KCEN) -- At the UN assembly in New York, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had harsh words for the UN Security Council yesterday.
He said they failed to establish justice and ensure sustainable peace and security in the world.
This, as Iran faces international scrutiny and UN sanctions for its nuclear program.
And with Israel calling for action against Iran, Ahmadinejad said they would "eliminate" Israel if they ever attacked.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton talked about the assassination of the U.S. Ambassador in Libya and said the world will not tolerate mob violence.
She said, "The people of Benghazi sent this message loud and clear on Friday when they forcefully rejected the extremists in their midst and reclaimed the honor and dignity of a courageous city."
Clinton met with the presidents of both Libya and Pakistan yesterday afternoon.
