55th Person in Texas Dies From West Nile - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- Another person has died from the West Nile virus in Dallas, upping the statewide death toll to 55.

In our area, it's been just over two weeks since any new West Nile cases have been reported.

To date, 49 total people have come down with the virus in central Texas.

Three of those people died.
