(KCEN) -- A bizarre shooting happened in southeast Texas because of an argument over a pet.
A woman is accused of shooting her husband after a disagreement about one of their cats.
Forty-two-year-old Audrey Miller is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say during the argument her husband threatened to harm the cat.
Sgt. Eddie Hazel of the Harris County Sheriff's Department said, "She made comments of some nature that he was going to harm her cat and she pointed the weapon at him and shot him in the stomach."
Miller's husband is recovering in the hospital.
The cat was not hurt.
