It didn't take Brian Moorman long to find a new job.
Moorman, the veteran punter who was released by the Bills on Tuesday, has signed with the Cowboys on Wednesday, according to Tim Graham of the Buffalo News.
Chris Jones, who punted the first three games of the season for the Cowboys, reportedly suffered a foot injury on Sunday. It's not known yet whether the Cowboys plan to keep Moorman as the starter for the rest of the year, or if Jones is expected to get healthy and get the job back later this season.
Financially, this works out well for Moorman: Because he's a vested veteran, his full salary became guaranteed from the Bills when he was on their roster in Week One. So not only does he get his entire 2012 base salary from the Bills, but he also gets whatever he's going to make for the rest of the season from the Cowboys.
