(KCEN) -- The California man behind a film which many blame for inciting rage in the Middle East was ordered held without bond.
A federal judge ruled that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula be held on suspicion of violating the terms of his probation.
The 55-year old is on probation from a 2010 conviction for check fraud.
A 14-minute trailer for his film, "The Innocence of Muslims" was posted to YouTube in July.
Since then, its been linked to protests around the Middle East.
