(KCEN) -- Former Baylor basketball player Richard Hurd has pled guilty to attempting to extort Baylor grad and Washington Redskins Quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Hurd admitted that he contacted one of the former Baylor quarterback's agents demanding 1 million dollars in cash for information that would supposedly damage RG III's reputation.
Then he was arrested during an FBI sting, when he accepted $120,000 in exchange for the information at a Waco law office.
Hurd faces up to five years total in jail.
His sentencing is scheduled for November 21.
