
WACO, Texas –
Five
non-conference games have been added to the Baylor men's basketball
national TV schedule, bringing the Bears' total to 25 nationally
televised games during the 2012-13 regular season.
Baylor's game at Kentucky on Dec. 1
will tip off at 11:30 a.m. CT and air nationally on CBS. The game will
be the second time in program history Baylor has played a regular-season
game on CBS.
The Bears defeated Texas 76-71 on Jan. 28 last season in the program's first regular-season CBS game, and BU is 5-3 all-time on the network.
Four
games were added on ESPN networks, which brings the total to 21 games
televised on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3. Baylor's home game against
College of Charleston on Nov. 24 will be shown
on ESPN3, which can be watched through the WatchESPN platform.
Baylor home games against Northwestern (Dec. 4) and BYU (Dec. 21), and the Bears' game at Gonzaga on Dec. 28, will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
