Courtesy of My San Antonio(KCEN) -- Forget a paper route or baby sitting a Texas boy has an unusual way to make money.
He's a bee keeper with a sweet deal with one local vodka company.
Bo Deweese has more than a few bees in his San Antonio backyard.
The third-generation beekeeper and young entrepreneur has turned a family interest into a business.
So far he's made $3,000 by selling his honey to Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka based in Austin.
"They have Texas corn and honey. And my dad said, 'well, talk to my son' and they called me and said, 'we'd like to put your honey in our vodka,'" Deweese says.
Vodka maker Clayton Christopher says, "That whole Bo and meeting Bo, and how that partnership came to be was so serendipitous. And I think, you know, he was just completely dropped in our lap."
Bo hopes to be a millionaire some day and is expanding his operation.
He plans to move out of his parents' back yard and supply all the honey to Deep Eddy.
