(KCEN) -- In Syria at least 21 people have been killed by aerial bombardment.

Footage posted online today shows a helicopter dropping a bomb on a town near the Turkish border.

Other footage apparently shows smoke rising over the area as the sound of gunfire rings out.

Activists say the violence in Syria has now claimed more than 30,000 lives with no sign of letting up.
