(KCEN) -- A missing persons case in Houston ended tragically this weekend.
A mother who went missing more than a week ago was found dead in Midland.
And her boyfriend has confessed to her murder.
Thirty-one-year-old Michelle Warner disappeared from her Houston home on September 21.
On Sunday, her boyfriend Mark Castellano confessed to police and told them he buried her in an oil field in Midland.
Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter said, "At approximately 6:25 we did locate a grave or a partial grave containing the body of one female."
Castellano also told police he killed her in Houston, then drove her body to Midland.
The couple has a three-year-old son.
The boy is safe with family members.
