(KCEN) -- Apple is contending with another glitch in its newest iPhone.
Apple has now confirmed there's a bug that's causing the phones to consume major amounts of cell data.
It happens even when the phones are plugged into a wifi network.
Apple has not commented on how widespread the problem might be.
But it pushed out a software update over the weekend that's suppose to fix it.
The bug has been a problem for Verizon users and possibly AT&T users as well.
