Accident Involving 4 Semi Trucks Closes I-35 Northbound - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- An accident involving four 18-wheelers has shut down I-35 northbound near West.

It happened around 11:05 a.m. when traffic was slowed down. One semi failed to slow down and plowed into the rest of the vehicles.

The driver of that truck which failed to slow down was taken to Hillcrest Hospital by helicopter with injuries. He is described as a man in his 30s or 40s. His legs are believed to be broken but it not yet known if he has other injuries.

I-35 northbound is expected to remain closed for a couple more hours.
