(KCEN) -- A new 20-year study shows half as many teens are drinking and getting behind the wheel.
That's coming from the CDD, which found a 54-percent decrease in the risky behavior since 1991.
In 2011 nine in ten teens say they did not drive after consuming alcohol.
Still, nearly 1 million teenagers engage in drinking and driving according to the CDC report.
High school boys over age 18 were most likely to drive drunk.
