Romney and Obama Scheduled to Debate Tonight in Denver

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Tonight's the night, the first presidential debate takes place in Denver.

Aides say they're coaching the President to keep his answers short and to be aggressive.

Mitt Romney is reportedly practicing how to not get irritated.

Romney is already in Denver this morning. President Obama arrives just hours before the debate.

The NBC News political director says the President has the opportunity to win the race if he has a good night tonight and if Romney has a really bad night.

NBC's poll shows Romney with just three points behind the President.

In NBC's poll, six in ten found the debates just "somewhat" important, or not at all.

You can catch the debate tonight at 8 p.m., on KCEN.
