(KCEN) -- In honor of breast cancer awareness month, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center is shining a light on breast cancer, literally.

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center lit the Saturn V rocket pink on Tuesday.

It'll stay lit for one week and proceeds from "Lite It Up Pink" will benefit the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

The event was originally scheduled for Monday, but bad weather forced event planners to postpone the event.
