School Bus Plunges Off Overpass in San Antonio - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- A school bus for special needs children plunged over the side of an overpass in San Antonio.

It happened on I-37 yesterday, just north of the Alamodome.

Of the three people on board when the bus jumped the barrier, police say only one was a child.

The bus driver had lost control of the bus, sending it off the railing, a 15 foot drop down to the access road.

Two of the people on the bus were staffers and one was a student.

All three were taken to University Hospital in stable condition by EMS.
