Courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter(KCEN) -- Actress Daryl Hannah is out of jail today after protesting a portion of the Keystone Pipeline that goes through Texas.
We now have pictures of that protest.
They show Hanna with land owner Eleanor Fairchild standing in front of construction equipment in Wood County.
Fairchild says the company building the pipeline TransCanada used eminent domain laws to build on her land.
Both women were arrested.
Hanna says, "We're talking about a foreign company. Not even out of state. A company that is a foreign company coming in and taking Americans land through eminent domain for what is supposed to be the greater good but it's really for an export line so that they can make profits by selling it to China and India "
Fairchild says it's a way for oil companies to extract poor quality contaminated oil.
