(KCEN) -- Texas is among 23 states that received shipments of a steroid used to treat back pain that are now linked to a rare fungal meningitis outbreak.
State officials say at least two Texas health facilities received the tainted steroid.
That includes Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Southlake located in the Metroplex and Dallas Back Pain Management.
The Southlake facility received 121 vials but no patients have been diagnosed as if yet.
Seven people have died from the outbreak.
