(KCEN) -- Venezuelans are heading to the polls today for the presidential election.
The race pits President Hugo Chavez against challenger Henrique Capriles Radonski.
Some expatriates living in the US are going to great lengths today to make sure their voices are heard.
This was the scene at the Venezuelan consulate in New Orleans, Louisiana this morning.
It's expected to be a lot busier today than in previous elections.
That's because the Miami Consulate, which used to serve Venezuelan voters in the Southeast US, closed.
People from as many as 10 states traveled to Louisiana today.
