(KCEN) -- Actress Daryl Hannah is now out of jail after protesting a portion of the Keystone Pipeline that will run through Texas.
Pictures of that protest show Hannah with land owner Eleanor Fairchild standing in front of construction equipment in Wood County.
Fairchild says the company building the pipeline, Transcanada, used eminent domain laws to build on her land.
Both women were arrested.
Hannah said, "We're talking about a foreign company. Not even out of state. A company that is a foreign company coming in and taking Americans land through eminent domain for what is supposed to be the greater good, but it's really for an export line so that they can make profits by selling it to China and India."
Fairchild says it's a way for oil companies to extract poor quality contaminated oil.
