Terror Suspect Appearing in Court in New York

(KCEN) -- A terror suspect is expected to appear in court today in New York City.

Muslim Cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri is accused of conspiring to establish a jihad training camp in Oregon and advocating a violent jihad in Afghanistan.

He also faces charges relating to a hostage incident in Yemen.

Two other men also have pre-trial conferences on charges they helped bomb embassies in Tanzania and Kenya.

Two more are facing terrorism-related charges in Connecticut.
