(KCEN) -- One of the nine engines that helped launch one of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Monday night apparently exploded.
The remaining eight engines however helped carry the pay load into orbit.
On top of the rocket was SpaceX's Dragon capsule, holding 1,000 pounds of cargo.
That includes chocolate-vanilla swirl ice cream for the three space station astronauts.
NASA contracted with SpaceX, which tested its Falcon 9 in McGregor, to resupply the station.
The unmanned cargo capsule is also packed with low-sodium food kits, clothing and computer hard drives.
It's set to rendezvous with the International Space Station early Wednesday.
