(KCEN) -- The towering Texas Chute-Out has toppled at Six Flags over Texas.
The 200-foot tall ride was imploded around 2 this afternoon.
Park representatives say over 29 million riders had taken the plunge on the parachute drop since it opened in 1976.
Six Flags plans to replace it with a new high-altitude swing ride called the Texas Sky Screamer.
It will be twice as tall as the Chute-Out.
