(KCEN) -- In an effort to cut down on the wild hog population, Coryell County is now offering bounties to hunters.
It will pay $10 for each hog tail, thanks to a grant program from the state.
Those tails should be turned in at the Evant Ranch Depot or Gatesville Ranch Supply before the end of the year.
Hunters should also include a signed certificate from the landowner, indicating the time and place of the kill.
