(KCEN) -- A Bellmead tire shop was robbed at gunpoint yesterday morning.

The suspect got away on foot.

It happened around 11:45 at Eddie's Tire Shop in the 1400 block of New Dallas Highway.

Police say a black man wearing dark clothes showed a gun, then demanded cash.

He's described as being six-feet-tall and approximately 200 pounds.

Police say he got away with an unknown amount of money, then ran toward the interstate.

He also may have used a black 1980s model Chevrolet Caprice as a getaway car.
