(KCEN) -- The man believed to be behind the anti-Muslim film that angered the Islamic world was in court yesterday.
Prosecutors say 55-year-old Mark Youssef violated his probation for a 2010 conviction for federal bank fraud.
He is accused of eight violations including lying to his probation officer and using aliases.
In federal court Youssef denied the charges.
He has been jailed without bond since his arrest two weeks ago when a judge labeled him a flight risk.
