(KCEN) -- The Copperas Cove Police Department is investigating the death of a man found near a burning vehicle on October 15.
Around 2 p.m. on Monday, police and fire officials responded to Ogletree Gap Park, in the 1800 block of Post Office Road, for a vehicle on fire.
The white 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was engulfed in flames and a deceased male was lying outside of the vehicle.
The deceased has only been identified as a 22-year-old male who lived in Copperas Cove. His body was sent for an autopsy.
The Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate and more information will be released as it becomes available.
