(KCEN) -- People braved the bitter cold to paddle across a lake in Nova Scotia in a bunch of giant pumpkins.
The pumpkins were hollowed out and some even got a personalized paint job for the Annual Pumpkin Regatta.
The winner called his pumpkin "Gourdinstein."
There was even a race for pumpkins with motors on them.
A 12-year old boy won that one.
Organizers say the cold kept some people away but they still got about thirty new pumpkin paddlers.
