
UPDATE (KCEN) -- The truck driver who died during the accident has been identified as 42-year-old Prek Gjokaj of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
The other man who was injured is 48-year-old Martin Oscar Edgar of El Paso. He was treated and released from Hillcrest Hospital.

UPDATE: One lane of I-35 northbound is now open.
Traffic is moving through the area at 20 to 30 miles per hour.

UPDATE:The northbound lanes between Elm Mott and West are expected to re-open by noon Thursday. Original estimates were for 5 a.m.
DPS troopers say the fire burned metal into the asphalt and the road is damaged beyond repair. They have to lay new concrete on the highway.

An accident involving two 18-wheelers killed one man and closed all lanes on I35 north of Waco.
It happened at around 10:30 p.m. south of exit 349 on Wiggins Rd. One semi truck was going a speed of 10 miles an hour through a construction zone when it was rear ended by another semi going at least 70 miles per hour.
The driver of the second semi died at the scene.
The first driver was flown to Hillcrest Hospital with neck and back injuries.
Investigators say one of the trucks was carrying a full tank of diesel and the cab of that semi caught fire on impact.
Lanes are expected to re-open around 5 a.m.
