Fort Hood will be opening its gates on October 26 and 27 to show its appreciation and respect for military retirees, the families of military retirees and survivors.

The 38th Annual Retiree Appreciation Day will have several activities and services planned with retired military members in mind.

Fort Hood wants to recognize those who have served our country and offer a time to remember how important military service members are to the United States of America. The greatness of the nation is a reflection of the greatness of military service members.
