(KCEN) -- The man who shot two people, including a 7-month-old baby in the head, is now behind bars for the suspected crime.
Twenty-four-year-old Samuel Henry Jr. was served two warrants while incarcerated in the McLennan County Jail.
Henry had been arrested on unrelated charges on the morning of October 18 for driving with an invalid license and possession of crack cocaine. Police had arrested him during a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Maple in Waco.
Detectives determined his involvement in the shooting that left the baby, Dmar Caulfied in critical condition, Craig Mays injured on October 10.
Witnesses identified Henry as the shooter.
He has been charged with Injury to a Child and Aggravated Assault.
