(KCEN) -- Jerry Sandusky is appealing his conviction.
Sandusky's legal team made it official late Thursday.
Joe Amendola, one of Sandusky's attorney's, says the appeal will be based primarily on the short amount of time they had to prepare for the trial, as well as the issue involving victim number eight and the hearsay testimony of one janitor about what another janitor said.
Amendola admits it may be hard to find a state appellate judge willing to approve an appeal.
But he says the are willing to take it to a federal court if that's what's necessary.
