(KCEN) -- School officials in Iowa are now investigating allegations of what some say is a disgusting form of discipline by a teacher.
Parents are speaking out against a music teacher at Shenandoah Community Schools in southwest Iowa who they believe told students to spit on another child.
Parents say the teacher had almost all of the children in one class spit on a boy one by one.
Parents Cory and Jessica Casteel said, "I don't believe that any child in this community should be involved ... should be spit on .... We realize bullying is a problem. Kids are being, you know, a lot of kids bully each other, you know, they should not have to be ... bullied by their teacher."
Casteel said his own daughter was forced by this teacher to spit on another student.
No word yet on what action the school system is taking.
