(KCEN) -- One 13-year-old boy says he doesn't know if he'll ever drink Mountain Dew again.
This comes after a bottle he bought at the store was spiked with whiskey.
Marcus Grant said the color of the soda and the bottle looked fine when he bought it, but when he took a sip it turned out to be whiskey masked in a Mountain Dew bottle.
Grant took at least a shot and his mother, Maria Grant, is now speaking out.
She said, "They say well send us in a bottle, here's some coupons for free Pepsi products and oops. Safeway, I got a letter from their human resources and they say they aren't accountable for anything. That it is a vendor issue and to deal with them."
According to the family, managers at the store examined the rest of the soda bottles, but didn't find any other irregularities.
