7 Car Pile Up Closes I-35 Northbound South of West - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- Interstate 35 northbound is closed due to a multi-vehicle accident near Wiggins Road south of West.

We have reports that an 18-wheeler stopped when it ran out of gas, which led to a seven-car pileup.

One vehicle burst into flames. The burned car is about to be removed from the scene.

Officials are expecting clean up to take about 30 to 45 minutes, but it will take longer for traffic to begin flowing normally again.
