(KCEN) Two more people are dead from an outbreak of Fungal Meningitis.
The Centers for Disease Control announced Saturday that the death toll is now at 23.
The deaths were in Tennessee and North Carolina.
The number of people infected is now at 284.
Federal Investigators linked the outbreak to potentially contaminated steroid shots.
The shots were made at the New England Compounding Center in Massachusetts, which is now under investigation.
