
(KCEN) -- Killeen police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened yesterday afternoon.
It happened in Killeen, at the 400 block of South Fort Hood Street. The officers arrived to find a 37-year-old male lying on the roadway.
Police say the driver, identified as Timothy Laurence Singletary, was traveling northbound on Fort Hood Street on a motorcycle when he struck a Dodge Charger that was attempting to make a left turn.
Singletary was thrown from the motorcycle and landed on the northbound lanes of Fort Hood Street, where he was run over by a Honda Civic traveling northbound on that street.
Singletary was a Fort Hood soldier. He was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
