(KCEN) -- Gov. Perry has responded to a video about the Fort Hood massacres that has gone viral.
Nearly three years after 45 people were shot on Fort Hood, 13 of them fatally, a group of soldiers and their loved ones are petitioning the Department of Defense to classify the deadly incident as an act of terrorism.
So the group made a video, featuring interviews with survivors.
Perry said Friday, "President Obama's refusal to call it an act of terror is a shining example of this administration's devotion to political correctness over the defense of our men and women in uniform."
Right now the shooting is classified as workplace violence.
