Stephanie Domurat - Morning News Anchor

Posted: Updated:

Stephanie is excited to now call Central Texas home! She is coming to the Lone Star state from Billings, Montana where she gained years of experience working as an Anchor, Reporter and Producer. The Southern California Native is no stranger to the southern states however, as she also spent time working as an Evening Anchor for WGXA in Middle Georgia. That was where she really learned what humidity is all about!

Stephanie first fell in love with broadcast journalism as an intern at KOCE, the local PBS affiliate in Orange County, California. From there, she attended Chapman University and graduated from the Dodge School of Film and Television in 2007. During her education, she had the opportunity to intern at three stations across Orange County and Los Angeles, including KCBS, KCAL and Garden Grove's Channel 3 News.

Her favorite thing about journalism is being able to call attention to issues that matter to a community. And she feels lucky to be able to share people's incredible stories as part of her job. As a reporter, she has been touched by so many stories, but her most memorable was the Big Sky Honor Flight from Billings, Montana to Washington, D.C. It was a trip that allowed her the opportunity to witness and share the journey of nearly 100 World War II Veterans taking a trip to D.C. to see the memorial that stands in their honor.

Stephanie feels lucky for the opportunity to wake up viewers here in Central Texas! In her spare time she enjoys listening to music, reading, drawing, finding great Texas eateries, and playing with her little dog, Zebe! You can watch her weekday mornings Co-Anchoring Texas Today with Kris Radcliffe.
