(KCEN) -- There is now an update on a murder investigation in Brucville-Eddy.
New autopsy results confirm Carol Wagner was smothered before she was found swaddled in a blanket in July.
Sixty-one-year-old Jerry Borchardt admitted to suffocating her with a pillow and is charged with murder.
Wagner's decomposing body was found inside her home at 108 Pinto Drive by her son.
Borchardt was arrested after he was seen driving her car in the Moody area.
He was questioned, released, then arrested once again.
